Publiskā debate “Brīvības ielas izvēle būt brīvai!”
RADI RĪGU! laipni aicina Jūs piedalīties publiskajā debatē „Brīvības ielas izvēle būt brīvai”, kas norisināsies 17.01.2014, piektdien, plkst. 16.00-18.30 Rīgas centrālās bibliotēkas Vidzemes filiālē Brīvības gatvē 206.
Ar pārdomām par Brīvības ielu bibliotēkā Brīvības gatvē atklājam pasākumu ciklu „BIBLIOTĒKAS SARUNAS”, kura mērķis ir stiprināt apziņu par bibliotēku kā zināšanu platformu par pilsētvidi apkaimēs. „BIBLIOTĒKAS SARUNU” vadmotīvs: Kultūra. Publiskā ārtelpa. Sociālā atdzimšana.
Diskusiju organizē Urban Institute un RADI RĪGU!, kā vienu no iespējamiem viedokļiem prezentējot ainavu projektēšanas darbnīcas ALPS izstrādātu Brīvības ielas šodienas un tuvas nākotnes redzējumu.
Brīvības ielas debates mērķi:
– sākt publisku diskusiju par vienu no simboliski un funkcionāli nozīmīgākām Rīgas telpām – Brīvības ielu, kā arī par mūsu pilsētas mobilitātes nozīmi un izpratni;
– iesaistīt diskusijā un aicināt neformālā pasākumā izpaust savus viedokļus ne tikai pilsētvides aktīvistus, bet arī iesaistīto departamentu un Rīgas pašvaldības organizāciju pārstāvjus;
– pievērst 2014. gada sākumā uzmanību pilsētvidei kā svarīgai kultūras sastāvdaļai.
