Tinai Sābi Madsenai raksturīga īpaši novatoriska pieeja plānošanai un dizainam tāpēc viņa  aicināta pievienoties IAP darbam. Pirms Tina tika iecelta par Kopenhāgenas galveno arhitekti 2010. gadā, viņa vadīja arhitektu biroju “WITRAZ”.

Sava darba metodoloģiju Tīna un viņas kolēģi formulē:

“Vides konteksta izpratne nav tikai vietas kvalitātes, klimata, vēstures vai būvtradīciju jautājums. Tā ir arī plaša diapazona ieinteresēto pušu vēlmju, vajadzību, konfrontācijas vai sadarbības analīze. Visi augstāk minētie faktori nosaka urbānās sfēras sarežģītību”.

Metodoloģija tiek balstīta uz dialoga attīstību starp visiem vides veidošanas procesa dalībniekiem.

Lai noteiktu, kas piedalās noteiktas vides veidošanas procesā, “WITRAZ” sarunājas ar trīs dažādu līmeņu lietotājiem –  “primārajiem” (esošiem) lietotājiem, “blakus” lietotājiem (kaimiņiem) un netiešiem (ārpuses, kuri ir arī nākotnes) lietotājiem.

“WITRAZ” izstrādāja paņēmienu kopu: konkrētu instrumentu virkni dialogam ar lietotāju. Kopā ar arhitektiem, birojs nodarbina arī komunikāciju zinātņu nozaru speciālistus. Dažādas komunikācijai paredzētas metodoloģijas, kopā ar tradicionāliem arhitektūras paņēmieniem, palīdz biroja darbiniekiem sagatavot dialogu, izplatīt informāciju, iedvesmot lietotājus, radīt kopīgu valodu, sniegt ieskatu problēmās un spēju tās saprast, dot cilvēkiem iespēju piedalīties un reāli ietekmēt projektēšanas procesu.

Tina Saaby Madsen

Tina Saaby Madsen is invited to join the IP because of her innovating work as a member and director of the architects’ office WITRAZ. In 2010 she was appointed to become the new City-Architect of Copenhagen.

From the statement: “Understanding context is not merely a question of site qualities, climate, local history and building tradition – it also demands an analysis of the wide span of stakeholders, the clashing or co working values and habits that define the complex urban sphere”, Tina Saaby Madsen and her colleagues have elaborated a methodology to dialogue with all kind of stakeholders.

To define who the stakeholders are, WITRAZ discusses the users on three different levels: the direct users; ‘the primary stakeholders’ (present users), ‘the near stakeholders’ (‘neighbours’) and the indirect users ‘the outer stakeholders’ (including future users).

WITRAZ has developed a toolbox: a series of concrete tools to make the dialogue work. Apart from employing architects, the office employs other people that contribute with different competences and points of view than traditionally trained architects. The tools are both classical architectural disciplines and disciplines rooted in other professional traditions. The tools help the office to prepare the dialogue, to spread the information, to inspire the users, to create a common language, to give insight and ability to understand, to give people the experience of being involved in the development of a project, etc.
